She pooped in the potty!

The mama didn't take a picture because that is just gross.  But Savannah did it, and she put a sticker on her potty chart...the first sticker on the chart!

The Olympian

Last night Savannah watched her first summer Olympic sporting event--swimming.  She made sure to tell our guests that she was a swimmer and wore a pink "babysuit".  She sat with us on the couch, cheered on the swimmers, clapping and yelling, "go, go, go" in between picking the nail polish off her toes.  She always asked for them to do it again after the race was over.

Happy birthday to our amazing girl...the love of our lives...the one who in one instance teaches us patience and in the next has us laughing until our sides hurt...the one that made 17 hours of labor worth it all!

Haircut

The mama can't remember if she posted about Savannah's first salon hair cut (her actual first haircut was at 6 months - yes she had that much hair - by her amazing nanny).  Everyone loved Savannah and Lori, who cut her hair and cuts mama's hair, thought she was wonderful.
