Cousins, cousins, everywhere...

As I mentioned in my previous post, Savannah's new cousin Naomi was in town for a visit this weekend.  In addition, Savannah's older cousin Drew stopped by on Saturday to play and take a few cousin pictures. It was a fun time!

I cannot get over that Savannah looks exactly like the mama in this picture.  This is me as a toddler.

While this photo is totally out of focus, it is one of my favorites.  When I saw it I didn't see a baby anymore, I saw Savannah as a little girl.  She got on her knees and started "singing" (screaming) some tune.  If her personality could be photographed this out of focus picture sums it up.

A new cousin for Savannah

Naomi Claire has arrived!  As some of you know, my sister and her husband have been jumping through the adoption hoops for the last two years (maybe longer...it is all running together).

An Easter weekend trip was planned long before anyone knew that Naomi would be in our lives.  So what a great treat to have the opportunity to meet her only three weeks after she was born.  The mama got the honor of taking Naomi's new born photos this weekend...enjoy!

Savannah is very upset about getting poked in the face with Naomi's barrette

Still very upset (but very cute)

Okay, all is good, everyone is friends again

Little jail bird

As part of our effort to allow Savannah and Connor to co-exist happily and safely, we gated off part of the living room so Connor didn't have to share his food bowl, bed and toys with a baby (the poor guy puts up with so much).

She makes a cute jail bird.

Spring has Sprung!

We headed to Indianapolis this weekend so Savannah could spend time with her grandparents.  And, they have something we do not have at our home...grass!  Savannah enjoyed some time crawling in the grass and smelling eating the flowers.  As you can see, she did not enjoy crawling on concrete.

How long has it been since she has been outside barefoot?

Just a nice spring picture
